On the morning of 1st September, all the teachers and students of Anqing Foreign Language School’s east campus gathered in the brand new playground to attend the opening ceremony of the first semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, which was hosted bilingually by students Ma Jingyi and Liu Andi from Grade 11. There are three items on the agenda.
First of all, the flag guard raised the national flag, and all the teachers and students sang the national anthem. With the bright five-star red flag hanging high and the bright smiles on the young faces, more than 6000 teachers and students set sail to the future in Anqing Foreign Language School with the dreams of youth.
Second of all, President Madam Huang Wenli and Principal Assistant Xu Zuitai led three student representatives respectively from the Primary Section, Junior High Department and Senior Department to read the poem ‘I am Self-disciplined and I am Excellent’. Through the inspirational poetry, everyone understood the meaning and significance of self-discipline. In the meantime, it’s believed that all staff of Anqing Foreign Language School shall be more self-disciplined and more brilliant in the new semester!
Third of all, release doves of peace to fly new dreams.
In summary, in the new academic year, all the teachers and students of Anqing Foreign Language School will be full of beautiful expectations and aspirations, turn ideals and beliefs into power, welcome the 20th  National Congress with a brand new hope, and pursue a new journey.
